The crucial importance of the Production Process Control
To have constant and regular performances is one of the focal requirements
of our products: it is a matter which affects all technical decisions through all
ProGold’s departments. The production process is constantly under control:
from the weighing of the components to the working cycle management for each item.
The production is divided into different casting phases of limited quantities, in
order to maximize product’s homogeneity inside each batch.
At the end of the entire production process, a Quality Control
is carried out to check and approve the final result. Using a specific spectrometer,
an analytical control is performed for each casting batch. It represents
the final check of the production process, in order to make sure that our items
work efficiently and continuously. Each article belonging to our range of products
is tested by means of the spectrometer; then it is linked to some specific classes,
where the proper function will determine whether the product respects the standard
or not. Furthermore, through a comparison between the analysis carried out on a
single lot, it is possible to determine the homogeneity rate achieved.
When an item does not match the specific class or has a high standard discrepancy,
it is declared to be “non standard”. This product will be then
managed on a particular way and will never be put on the market.
