The system includes a dedicated dispenser capable of containing up to 30 alloy leads, allowing fast and practical refill operations. The trigger mechanism enables precise lead advancement, while unused leads can be safely retracted into the dispenser without material loss. To improve reliability during production, LAP-X® includes interchangeable colour-coded covers matching the alloy family in use, helping operators quickly identify the correct filler metal and reducing the risk of colour or fineness mismatch. The graphite tip further improves durability and prevents unwanted soldering interaction between the laser and the dispenser tip during operation.
